The Name

DogDenGolf

D for David added to his last name,
Ogden: D + Ogden = DogDen.

DogDenGolf is a result of his passion for the great game of golf, his entrepreneurial spirit and enjoyment of people. David and Dogs are very loyal creatures and thus DogDenGolf will be loyal in its pursuits to provide its clients the best golfing experience! It will include access to the best courses in the area and matching it with luxury accommodations and quality services.

The Story / Mission Statement

Due to the loss of my wife, Sally Ogden to lung cancer in 2004, I was drawn to find a home in Pinehurst to renovate as a healing therapeutic project. The result of this project (Home of the Year Nominee) and golf memberships was the creation of DogDenGolf in 2007.

I was interested in creating a program to help Charities raise money by offering “The DogDen” combined with golf and other options as auction / raffle items. DogDenGolf’s mission is to provide its clients with “The Ultimate Golfing Experience” and a $1,000,000 charitable fundraising goal was set to honor Sally. The Auction Program offers his luxury home, “The DogDen” combined with golf and other options as auction items. To date, this program has raised over $1,200,000! This marketing approach brings high end clients to the Pinehurst region and a sample list of clients include:
